Karbala Jafari aza … Iraqi govt urged to talk Saudis for Baqee shrines rebuilding

HOLY KARBALA, Iraq: A mourning procession in connection with the
anniversary of martyrdom of Al-Imam Jafer As-Sadiq (AS) was taken out
from the holy shrine of Al-Imam Abi Abdellah Al-Hussein (AS) on Sunday
Shawal 25, October 26.
Officials and khoddam (servers on the two Husseini and Abbasi shrines)
were the organizers of the procession which was led by secretary
general of Al-Atbah Al-Husseiniyah Sheikh AbdelMehdi Al-Karbalayi.
The procession culminated at the holy mausoleum of Abi’l Fadhl Al-Abbas
(AS).
The mourners were reciting elegies and beating their chests and heads
n grief. They strongly demanded from the Iraqi officials to open talks
with the Saudi authroties for reconstruction of destructed shrines of
Aa’immah Al-Baqee, among them is Al-Imam As-Sadiq (AS)’s shrine.
Addressing on the occasion, Sayed Afdhal Ash-Shamy, deputy secretary
general of Al-Atbah Al-Husseiniyah, paid tributes to the Imam (AS)
highlighting his services ad lofty character.
