Ramadan activities on peak in Imam Ali (AS) city

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: Ramadan activities – Sahour,
Iftar, recitation of Quran, prayers, Ramadan gatherings and reciting
supplications - were continued in the holy city of Najaf.
A large number of trbal chiefs and elite of the Holy Najaf attended an
iftar banquet thrown in their honour at husseiniyah Al-Mojtabaa by
Shahid Al-Mehrab Foundation.
Addressing the participants, Sayed Hussein Al-Hakim spoke
on significance of fasting as well as important role played by Najaf
chieftains in promoting Sha’a’ier al-Husseiniyah and defending
religion and motherland.
