ASH-SHATRAH, Iraq: A massive elegiac event was organized in Ash-Shatrah to mark the sad occasion of third anniversary of demolition of Al-Imamayn Al-Askariyain (AS) shrine in Samarra.

Large number of renowned poets including Sayed Said As-Safy, Al-Ostaz Nadhim Al-Hashy, Ali Al-Khaffajy and many others participated in the event that was held at Al-Imam Al-Jawad auditorium. The poets used their poetry condemning the tragedy.

Al-Ostaz Al-Khatib Najam Al-Hasnavy, a candidate of Shahid Al-Mehrab party, in his address on the occasion strongly denounced the crime. He told that observation of this tragic crime gives a message to others that we are still stick to holy sha’a’er and are united; we stand behind our Marajay; we are patient and will thwart rift-creating conspiracy of our combined enemy.
