Hundreds of thousands flocking to Samarra shrine for Rajab 5 celebration

SAMARRA, Iraq: Hundreds of thousands of people have been
descending at the holy shrine of Al-Imamayn Al-Askariyain (pace be on
them), the tenth and eleventh descendant of Prophet Muhammad (peace be
on him and his holy progeny) in the holy city of Samarra, to celebrate
the birth anniversary of Al-Imam Al-Hadi (peace be upon him).
Al-Imam Ali bin Muhammad Al-Hadi (peace be upon him) was born on Rajab
5.
Security has been tightened at all entrances of the city
and the routes leading to it.
