Ayat Shirazi calls Iraqis to cooperate By: S Alshirazi HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: Ayatullah Sayyid Sadiq Ash-Shirazi while paying thanks to Allah on capture of Iraq’s tyrant Saddam which not only pleased oppressed Muslims in Iraq and whole Islamic community but humanity at large has greeted Iraqi nation, Hawzaat Ilmiyah, faithful clans and all stratums of society over this divine victory to the oppressed nation. Quoting a Quranic verse wherein Allah called Iman (faith) and Taqwa (piety) as key for blessings and favors, he urged the Iraqi nation to co-operate for the sake of making an Iraq (a pious believer) that crowns all its sectors with the belief, and includes all its categories by the garment of piety. In his statement issued on Shawwal 21, Ayatullah Ash-Shirazi said persistent effort is necessary for the establishment of a democratic government in Iraq. HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Ayatullah Sayyid Muhammad Taqi Al-Modarresi and Ayatullah Sayyid Hadi Al-Modarresi have greeted Iraqi nation on the detention of tyrant Saddam urging them to fast on Friday to pay thanks to Allah and saying Saddam's fall is not sufficient to bandage Iraqis wounds but justice for his victims is necessary.
