Imam Hassan (as)’s birthday celebrations in Bahrain

MANAMA, Bahrain: Bahrainis celebrated the auspicious occasion of birth anniversary of Al-Imam Al-Hassan El-Mojtaba (AS), son of Amir-ol-Mominin Al-Imam Ali bin Abi Taleb (AS) and Bed’ator Rasul Sayyedah Fatemah Zahraa (AS), with devotion and passion.

Streets, mosques and maatam were decorated with multihued buntings and pennants; Children exchanged gifts with each other marking the joyous occasion; Special iftar feasts and banquets were arranged and festive gatherings were held attended by multitudes.

The festive gatherings were witnessed at all mosques and maatam including Masjid Fatemah-toz-Zahraa (AS) Hamd, Masjid Al-Momin, Maatam Al-Imam Al-Baqer (AS), Maatam Ithni Ashariyah, Hussainiyah Al-Haaj Ahmed bin Khamis, Hussainiyah Al-Qassab Manama and Maatam Al-Imam Ali (AS).
