Pak to observe Imam Ali (as) martyrdom as 3-day Ayyam-e-Aza By: Salman Alvi RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The martyrdom anniversary of Ameer-ul-Momineen Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (as) will be observed as three-day Ayyam-e-Aza from 19th to 21st Ramazan throughout Pakistan on the call of Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. According to convener TNFJ central Ayyam-e-Aza Committee Dr Iqbal Javed Haidery, Majalis-e-Aza and Taboot Processions will be taken out in all big cities and towns to mark the martyrdom of the Maula-e-Kaenat on this occasion. In a statement issued here, Dr Haidery demanded from the government to give full coverage to 3-day Ayyam-e-Aza programs including Majalis and central Taboot processions on electronic media. He lamented that PTV khabrnama has been restricted to government news. He urged the government to set law and order situation during 3-day Ayyam-e-Aza calling upon the public to remain alert. He said the holy personality of Ameer-ul-Momineen Hazrat Ali (AS) is the unity point in the sight of all Muslims and all schools of thought believe in him. He demanded from authorities that be of national media and newspapers to air special programs and issue special editions marking the day besides giving full coverage to majalis and processions programs.
