Huge rallies seen in Pak marking Day of Quds Solidarity with Oppressed;
By: Salman Alvi ISLAMABAD, November 21: Youm-ul-Quds Himayat-e-Mazloomin (Day of Quds Solidarity with Oppressed) was observed on Jumatul Wida throughout the country on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi with reiterating the commitment to achieve Al-Quds Ash-Sharif, and continue support to the freedom fighters engaged in getting the independence of Kashmir.
In Federal Capital Islamabad, a strong protest rally was held on Youm-ul-Quds Himayat Mazloomin at Aabpara Chowk under the auspices of District Al-Quds Committee of the TNFJ.
The rally that began from the Darbar of Hazrat Bari Sarkar’s father, Sakhi Mahmood Shah Badshah was led by TNFJ Additional Secretary General Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari, District President TNFJ Islamabad Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, Jamia Masjid Jafariya I-9’s Imam Juma-Wal-Jamaat Allama Guftar Hussain Sadiqi, Qasr-e-Imam Musa Kazmi I-10 Khateeb Allama Ikhlaq Hussain Kazmi, Allama Syed Fakhar Abbas Zahidi, Maulana Zaheer Raza Kiani, Allama Muhammad Abbas Zaini, TNFJ District Islamabad Al-Quds Committee Convener Nazakat Hussain Kazmi, Zulfiqar Ali Raja, Barkhurdar Shaheen and other leaders.
After reaching Aabpara Chowk, the rally turned out into a protest meeting. Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan’s Central Secretary Information Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said that objective of observing Youm-ul-Quds Himayat Mazloomin throughout the country on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi is to express solidarity with the oppressed nations and Muslim people facing atrocities the world over. He said the international organisations i.e. United Nations and the OIC are responsible for the problems and issues faced by the oppressed. He said the United Nations never resolved any issue faced by the world of humanity and similarly the OIC has not yet resolved any issues confronted by the Islamic World damaging the reputation of both, and now they will have to take independent decisions to revive their reputation and to get rid of American slavery.
He called upon the Muslim Ummah to launch a joint practical struggle from the united platform for solution of the collective issues, particularly achievement of Al-Quds Ash-Sharif, independence of Kashmir, and an end to oppression of colonial powers against oppressed Kashmiri, Palestinian and Iraqi people. Welcoming the restrictions imposed on restricted groups working with new names, Syed Qamar Zaidi demanded to impose ban on foreign aid received by these groups and to lodge protest against the States providing them with aid, on diplomatic level. He made it clear that a terrorist keeps no religion, Maslak, Millat or a country, therefore the government should take strict notice of illegal use of Maslak and Millat by these restricted groups and strictly implement Anti-Terrorism Act and the Moosavi Peace Formula to root out terrorism.
He expressed the resolve that Millat-e-Jafariya, Pakistan would continue its practical struggle for promoting mutual brotherhood and understanding, solidarity of the motherland, and protection of their beliefs and rights from the platform of their representative organisation i.e. Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan under the leadership of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.
Allama Shaikh Ijaz Hussain Modarris in his address said that achievement of Al-Quds Ash-Sharif and independence of Kashmir is a joint issue of the whole Islamic World. He said we, following the saying of Hazrat Ali Al-Murtaza (A.S.), strongly condemn oppression all around and express our solidarity with the oppressed the world over. TNFJ District Islamabad President Allama Basharat Hussain Imami and Ala Haider also addressed the gathering. A resolution adopted by the participants while raising vociferous slogans on the occasion, called upon the United Nations to help achieve the Al-Quds Ash-Sharif from the illegal occupation of Israel and get the Indian and Zionist oppression against oppressed Kashmiris and Palestinians stopped. The resolution also demanded resolution of Kashmir and Palestine issues in the light of the United Nations Resolutions keeping to the desire of their people.
Another resolution strongly condemned chief of the colonial powers i.e. America for targeting the oppressed Muslims in the garb of rooting out terrorism and called upon the ICC to declare American president Bush, Sharon and Vajpayee as war criminals and put them on trial. The resolution expressed complete solidarity with the independence movements launched by the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine. The participants of the rally later dispersed peacefully after raising vociferous slogans in favour of oppressed Muslims and against chief of the colonial powers i.e. America and her Hindu and Zionist agents. They also put the effigies of Israeli Prime Minister Sharon on fire. A heavy contingent of police along with local administration officials escorted the rally throughout. In Rawalpindi, main Youm-ul-Quds Himayat Mazloomin procession was taken out from Imambargah Ashiq Hussain Teli Mohallah under the auspices of District Youm-ul-Quds Himayat Mazloomin Committee of the TNFJ. Palestinian representative Adnan Kazim specially participated in the rally. Thousands of people participated in the procession that was led by TNFJ Provincial Council Punjab President Syed Abu Jafar Naqvi, Regional Council Rawalpindi President Allama Syed Matloob Taqi, Chairman Mukhtar Force Abu Baidar Ali, Supreme Commander Alhaj Abuzar Bangash, Central President Abd Hadi, Allama Syed Hussain Muqaddasi, Markazi Khateeb Shia Jamia Masjid Darbar Shah Chan Chiragh Allama Syed Saqlain Ali Bokhari, Allama Syed Mohsin Ali Hamdani, Allama Syed Zahid Abbas Kazmi, Maulana Mazhar Hussain Naqvi, Maulana Qalab-e-Abbas Bokhari, Maulana Javed Haideri, Maulana Zainul Abideen, Maulana Ijlal Haider Masoomi, Maulana Qamar Abbas Kazmi, Maulana Mujtaba Bokhari, Maulana Waqar Hussain Naqvi, Markazi Convener Youm-ul-Quds Himayat Mazloomin Meesam Tammar, Abu Nasr Kazmi, Al-Haj Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan, Iftikhar Hussain Mashadi, Syed Murtaza Moosavi, Rooh-ul-Abbas Moosavi, Farzand Kazmi, Mumtaz Naqvi, Miskeen Hussain Shah, Bawa Syed Riaz Hussain Shah, Nasir Abbas Karbalai, Syed Nazakat Hussain Naqvi, Malik Asad Abbas, Najam Shah Taqvi, Wiladat Hussain Kazmi and other leaders. The participants of the procession were carrying banners and placards inscribed with different slogans in favour of Al-Quds Ash-Sharif and against the American-Zionist-Hindu colonial trio. The protest procession turned into a rally after reaching Committee Chowk. Convener of the Youm-ul-Quds Himayat Mazloomin Committee of the TNFJ Meesam Tammar in his address on the occasion paid rich tributes to all Muslims who displayed practical unity and brotherhood by participating in Youm-ul-Quds Himayat Mazloomin programmes on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. He said Muslims are Millat-e-Wahida and we would have to confront the atheists by becoming united. That way we would not only succeed in achieving Bait-ul-Moqaddas but it would also resolve all problems faced by them. TNFJ Punjab Province President Syed Abu Jafar Naqvi in his address said that these days Muslims are only Muslims by name, had they been the men of deed then we would not have to face humiliation here and there today. He said forming a Muslim United Forum was need of the hour to root out atheism. In his address, Chairman Mukhtar Force Ch. Abu Baidar Ali said the real cause of problems faced by the Islamic World are Muslim rulers themselves who become tools in the hands of colonial powers. He said that Muslims would have to come out of their shackle and carry out a joint practical struggle after forming United International Islamic Forum to achieve Al-Quds Ash-Sharif and Kashmir. A resolution adopted on the occasion strongly demanded solution of long-standing issues of Kashmir and Palestine in the light of the United Nations Resolutions keeping to the desire of their respective people. The resolution called upon the OIC to come out from deep slumber instead of expressing its concern on the condition of Muslim Ummah and adopt a concrete and courageous strategy for solution of problems faced by the Islamic World. Vociferous slogans were raised against America, India, and Israel on this occasion while participants of the rally set the effigies of Indian and Israeli prime ministers on fire. RAWALPINDI, November 20: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has stressed upon all international institutions including United Nations to play their role for liberation of Al-Quds Ash-Sharif and other occupied Muslims territories advising Muslim Ummah to adopt bold strategy for resolution of its problems. |
