TNFJ monthly meet issues directives to lay Ramazan programs By: Salman Alvi RAWALPINDI, November 3: The monthly organizational meeting presided over by Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate, Secretary General of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan was held on Monday on the special directive of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Heads of all subordinate departments of the Tehreek participated in the meeting. The participants of the meeting took stock of the organizational activity and reviewed national affairs while directives were issued to various committees for organizing programs during the month of Ramazan-ul-Mubarik. Addressing the participants, Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate said that discipline is obligatory for solidarity, strength, promotion and survival of any big or small home, office, association, institution, organization, and Tehreek. For this purpose, he said, basic condition is unity, brotherhood and similar thinking and the nations that follow this path emerge successful. He said at present becoming organized by displaying unity, brotherhood and mutual understanding was need of the hour in the larger interest of the nation and the country. He made it clear that the month of Ramazan-ul-Mubarik is the month of snubbing the Nafs and we could fulfill the objective of our creation by earning the blessings of this month. The TNFJ Secretary General said that at present the oppressed and Muslim nations were confronting backwardness and dismemberment the basic reason of that is internal strife and differences within the Muslim States the benefit of which is reaped by colonial powers. He said India and Israel were carrying out aggression against Kashmir and Palestine while chief of the colonial powers was doing the same against Afghanistan and Iraq. He said our problems and difficulties could not be reduced by holding conferences, seminars and forums but by removing the unrest found in the ranks of people by resolving their problems. Expressing his grave concern over mutual confrontation between the government and the opposition, he called upon the powers that be to adopt the policy of mutual understanding and to avoid everything that may cause anarchy. He said Islam that is the official religion of motherland Pakistan, created in the name of Islam, has been limited to Article 2 of the Constitution. He said the rulers and politicians were merely engaged in tug-of-war for power and no one was concerned about the new generation. The participants of the meeting, in line with the announcement made by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, decided to organize country-wide programs: Youm-ul-Huzn on 10th Ramazan, Youm-e-Shaheed to mark the martyrdom of Hazrat Mukhtar on 13th Ramazan, Youm-e-Aman to mark the birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam Hassan Mujtaba (A.S.) on 15th Ramazan, 3-day Ayyam-e-Aza to mark the martyrdom of Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali (A.S.), Shab-e-Qadr to mark Nazool-e-Quran on 23th Ramazan, and Youm-ul-Quds Himayat-e-Mazloomin on Jumatul Wida. Prayers will be offered for supremacy of Islam and for country’s integrity and solidarity on this occasion. A resolution adopted at the meeting, demanded from the government to correct the law and order situation during these programs during Ramazan-ul-Mubarik and asked the people to also remain vigilant and keep an eye on miscreants.
