Bahrainis celebrate H. Ali Al-Akbar (as)’s birth anniversary By: Ali Al-Qadumi
MANAMA, Bahrain: Birth Anniversary of the young son of Al-Imam Al-Hussain (as), Ali Al-Akbar (as), was celebrated on Shabaan 11 in Bahrain with religious reverence like other parts of the world. Special gatherings were held on this occasion at hussainiyaat, mosques and maatam attended by throngs of devotees. Speakers highlighted the life and character of Ali Al-Akbar (as) who was a complete picture of Prophet Muhammad (saw).
The speakers said that Al-Imam Al-Hussain (as) while sending his 18-year-old Ali Al-Akbar (as) to the battle of Karbala had said: “O Allah! Be witness that now I am sending towards that people the ‘youth’ who is like your prophet in character, behavior, manners, conduct and demeanor.” END Ayat Al-Hakim’s 40th marking in Bahrain
