Shaban festivals celebrated in Bahrain By: Ali Al-Qadumi MANAMA, Bahrain: Shaban festivals that include birth anniversaries of Aqeelah Bani Hashem Sayidah Zainab (p) on Shaban 1, Sayid Shabab Ahlil Jannah Al-Imam Al-Hussain (p) on Shaban 3, Qamar-e-Bani Hashem Abul Fadhl Al-Abbas (p) on Shaban 4 and Sayidus Sajedin Al-Imam Ali Zain Al-Abedin (p) on Shaban 5, were marked in Bahrain with enthusiasm like other parts of the world.
Marking the occasion, continuous celebrations were held at Maatam Al-Imam Ali, Masjid Fatimatuz Zahraa, Maatam Al-Imam Baqer, Masjid Al-Momin, hussainiyah bin Khamis, hussainiyah Al-Qassab, Maatam bin Sallom and many others in all cities of the country. Thousands of devotes attending the celebrations offered greetings to the holy family. People also arranged special feasts and banquets to celebrate the occasion.
