Damascus witnesses Karbala Heroes’ birthdays celebrations By: Sultan Ahmed DAMASCUS, Syria: Different organizations in the city of Sayyedah Zaynab (sa) arranged special programs to celebrate the birth anniversaries of Al-Imam Al-Husssain (as), his brother Al-Abbas bin Ali (as), and his son Al-Imam Ali bin Al-Hussain Zayn-ul-Abedin (as) on Shaban 3-5. Besides hussainiyaat, celebrations were witnessed at the holy shrines of Sayyedah Zaynab bint-e-Ali (sa) and Sayyedah Roqayyah (sa) attended by throngs of devotees coming from inside and outside Syria. Reciting eulogies (Qasaid), the eulogists extended felicitations to Ahlul Bayt (as) on the auspicious occasions. As-Sayyed Modher Al-Qazvini addressed a ceremony held at the office of Ayatullah Ash-Shirazi in Damascus. He spoke on the significance and role of Hussaini revolution in saving Islam. Different poets and speakers also addressed. END Mabath-ur-Rasul (s) celebrated in Damascus
DAMASCUS, Syria: A grand celebration was held in Damascus marking the auspicious occasion of Mabath-ur-Rasul (saww), or annunciation of the Prophet Muhammad (saww) of his prophethood on Rajab 27.
