Kuwaitis hold majalis marking Arbaeen al-Imam al-Hosayn (a.s.) By: Sultan Ahmad KUWAIT CITY: To mark the occasion of Arbaeen al-Hosayni, or the fortieth day after the martyrdom of Abel Ahrar Al-Imam Al-Hosayn (AS) some 1400 years ago in the hot desert of Karbala for the survival of Islam, Kuwaitis organized Majalis Al-aza this year also. Majalis were held in different mosques and hosayniyat across the country attended by flocks of mourners. The speakers paid rich homage to the Chief of Youths of Paradise Al-Imam Al-Hosayn (AS) describing his great status in the sight of Allah and His Last Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Ash-Baqer Al-Moqaddesi addressed a majlis Al-aza at hosayniyah Al-Jafariah. He told the gathering that Prophets and Messengers were sent by Allah to guide the people from darkness to light, and after the chain of Prophethood was ended on the Seal of Prophets, Prophet Muhammad (SAW), this mission was carried out by A’immah Ahlul Bayt (AS).
