Safar 28 observance: Swarms mass in Mash’had, Qom

HOLY CITY OF MASH’HAD, Iran: Grand mourning programs on 28th Safar-ul-Muzaffer throughout the country marked the martyrdom anniversary of Holy Prophet Hazret Muhammad (PBUH&HP) and his grandson Hazret Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba (PBUH).

In the holy city of Mash’had, hosts of mourners from different parts of the country began gathering at the holy mausoleum of Hazret Imam Ali bin Mousa Ar-Reza (PBUH) on the eve of Safar 28 to offer him condolence on the sad occasion. Majales and seena-zenee were held at the shrine throughout the night as well as in the day.

Speakers throwing light on the holy personalities of Holy Prophet Hazret Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH&HP) and Sibt-e-Rasool Hazret Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba (PBUH), highlighted their character and message and said that the main objective of their mission was service of religion and eminence of Kalma-e-Haq.

Similar mourning gatherings attended by throngs of mourners were also witnessed throughout the night at the holy shrine of Hazret Sayyedeh Fatimeh Al-Masoomeh (PBUH), daughter of Imam Al-Kazim (PBUH), in the holy city of Qom.

Majales were also held at the tombs of founder of Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatullah Ruhullah Khomeini (late), Abdolazim Al-Hassani in Tehran and Imam-Zadgaan in the holy city of Mash’had and Qom, as well as mosques including Jamkaran Mosque, hussainiyaat and offices of Ayaat to offer condolences to the holy family of holy Prophet (pbut).

A majles-e-aza to mark the occasion was organized at Baitush-Shirazi in the holy city of Qom addressed by speaker Qasimzadeh, Hujjatulislam Hajiyaan and Hujjatulislam Ruhanee.

HOLY CITY OF MASH’HAD, Iran: Deep condolences were extended to eighth infallible descendant of holy Prophet Hazret Muhammad (saw), Hazret Imam Ali Ar-Reza (as) and his sister Sayedeh Fatemeh Al-Masouma (as) on the occasion of Arbaeen, or the 40th day after the martyrdom of Hazret Imam Hussain (as).
