Kentucky: Rich homage paid to Sayyid-ul-Ambiyaa (pbuh&hp) By: Mohamed Ali KENTUCKY: Muslims in the US state of Kentucky observed the heartrending occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Sayyid-ul-Ambiyaa, or the Chief of Prophets Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh&hp) on 28th day of Safar-ul-Muzaffar with due fervor. Marking the occasion, a majlis-e-aza was held at Az-Zahra Islamic Center attended by large number of followers of Prophet (pbuh&hp) and his Ahlul Bayt (pbut). The majlis began with recitation of holy Quran followed by an address of Sheikh Rahim As-Sa’edi, prayer leader of the center. As-Sa’edi urged the need of disseminating the message of Muhammadan Islam that is commensurate with peace, love and tranquility. He called Muslims for following the teachings of holy Prophet (pbuh&hp) and his Ahlul Bayt (pbut) so that they could preserve their inheritance, beliefs, traditions and their Islamic identity.
