Marja’iyah asks govt to protect Iraqis, dignity of holy sites
By: Ismail Zabeeh
BAGHDAD, Iraq: Severely condemning continuous terrorism
against holy sites and Mo’mineen (believers), Al-Marajay
Ad-Diniyah and Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution in
Iraq have demanded from the government to fulfill its
responsibility of protecting citizens and dignity of
sacred places.
They urged Iraqis to thwart conspiracies of enemies of
Islam and Iraq through their unity and prayed for the
martyrs.
The remarks came after two bombs exploded on Sunday near
Ahl-ol Beit (AS) Husseiniyah in Baghdad, leaving at least
16 worshippers martyred and injuring more than 70 others.
A spokesman for Muslim Scholars Association accused
foreign hands of attempting to flare sectarianism in Iraq
through terrorism aimed at prolonging their occupation.
Meanwhile, 15 people, martyred on Friday in a bomb blast
at Al-Mehdi (AS) Mosque and Husseiniyah, have been buried
in the holy city of Najaf. The big funeral procession was
attended by representative delegation of Al-Marjay Ad-Dini
Ayatullah Sayyed Ali As-Sistani and Al-Hawzah.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
