ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - August 12: Allama Tajuddin Haideri, Central Vice-President of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan, has said that rulers, politicians, religious sections and intelligentsia would have to give up dual and hypocritical policy so as to restore peace and root out terrorism throughout the world.

He was addressing the office-bearers and elite of TNFJ here on Friday. He said the Islamic World is confronting terrorism, oppression and brutality for more than 14 centuries. The history of Makkah and Madinah is replete with bloody incidents of terrorism against the Holy Prophet (SAW) but he always adopted defensive strategy and did not attack first.

He said from the gory incident of terrorism that took place in Masjid-e-Kufa on Ramazan 19, 40 A.H. to the worst incident of terrorism of the history that took place of Muharram 10, 61 A.H. all incidents were replied with patience, forbearance and Mazloomiyyat, that is why flag of Islam is fluttering all around the world today with full fervour. He made it clear that had the Mazloomiyyat was not adopted, the message of Islam may not have reached the humanity in the present shape.

Allama Haideri said it is Godly wisdom that when oppression increases, it is wiped out and the blood of oppressed martyrs dominates at last. He questioned the colonial powers that are afraid of Islamic concept of jihad and spirit of martyrdom who is responsible for the killing of allied forces becoming victims of bloodshed going on in Iraq, Afghanistan and other places in the garb of rooting out terrorism? Flower wreaths are placed on their memorials being proud of them and are paid salute. The thing for which super powers accuse Islam of extremism consider a source of proud for them unveiling their policy based on duplicity.

He said Islam never supported terrorism. Muslims condemned New York incident and London bomb blasts as much as the other nations did but Muslims are being accused of terrorism under a well hatched conspiracy in the garb of which Western powers were following the agenda of expansionism and to make Muslim rulers subservient to them. Not only this but the unconscious intellectuals and writers were also speaking the colonial language viz. terrorism.

Lauding the steps taken by President Pervez Musharraf to root out terrorism, he made a fervent appeal to him to order immediate release of innocent citizens arrested in the garb of crackdown against terrorism all over the country and to tighten the noose against banned groups so that people could live in peace and tranquillity. He said TNFJ strongly condemns all types of terrorism and considers murder of any one person as a murder of Islam and Pakistan.

A resolution adopted during the meeting strongly demanded from the government to arrest the culprits of Bari Imam incident forthwith and give them exemplary punishment besides unveiling the real objective behind the incident. Pursa Bari Imam Committee presented a report on the progress of Bari Imam incident case while TNFJ District Islamabad presented organisational report during the meeting.
