ISLAMABAD, Pakistan : The Youm-e-Wiladat of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi Al-Jawwad (A.S.) was observed throughout Pakistan with religious fervour and spirit marking an end to the Ashra-e-Ajr-e-Risalat programmes announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Mahafil-e-Milad, gatherings, conferences, and other functions were held in all small and big cities of the country including Federal Capital Islamabad and Rawalpindi Region. All schools of thought participated in these programmes and expressed their love and devotion to the Khanwada-e-Risalat. Ulema, khutaba, waizeen, zakireen and renowned poets presented Fazail and Manqabat in Bargah-e-Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.).

Such Mahafil were organised at various venues including Jamia Wali-ul-Asr, Masjid Imam Ali Naqi, Jamia-tul-Musheer, Danishgah-e-Jafariya, and Madrassah Quran-o-Itrat.

In Rawalpindi, main concluding ceremony of Ashra-e-Ajr-e-Risalat was held at Ali Hall under the auspices of Ha’eat Tulaba-e-Islamia. Minor Qari Muhammad Jafar Khan presented recitation from Holy Quran. Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi in his address said the love and devotion with Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) has been termed Ajr-e-Risalat. He said the teaching of the greatest personality of Khanwada-e-Risalat Muhammad bin Ali bin Musa Al-Raza known as Al-Taqi (A.S.) is contradiction of oppression and brutality and adoption of Zuhd-o-Taqwa, justice and fair-play which could be instrumental in getting the world of humanity rid of international colonial powers and all other problems.

He said during the shortest life span spread over 25 years, Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) not only confronted oppression and brutality but also provided invaluable services for upholding the principles of Allah’s religion, and promotion and stability of Shariat-e-Muhammadi.

Ch. Mushtaq Hussain, Syed Tabassum Abbas Kazmi, Syed Madah Hussain Shah, Hassan Raza Kiani, Syed Arif Al-Hussaini, minor Zakir Syed Riwayat Hussain Ravi, Syed Jone Ali Mashadi, Shahzad Butt also addressed the gathering.

A resolution adopted on the occasion made it clear that Pakistan is the joint inheritance of all, and all schools of thought played an equal part in putting it in order. It said the motherland Pakistan is confronted with terrorism for the last 25 years the basic reason of which is that it is being punished being an ideological State, and being an atomic power it is a mole in the eyes of enemies as a result of which pressure in being exerted on Pakistan day by day and full energy is being utilised to get Pakistan declared a terrorist State.

Statement of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh published in Tuesday’s papers provides proof to this effect in which he has said that Islamabad may root out terrorist structure completely, it said adding that this statement is a heinous conspiracy to this effect while India itself is bent upon State terrorism on the other. They have not only destructed Babri Masjid rather churches are also being set on fire not only in Kashmir but also in other parts of India. The Indian Prime Minister has himself watched the massacre of his Sikh nation and the bloodshed of Muslims in Ahmedabad stands witness to it.

The resolution said the whole world is concerned about India-America defence pacts and India-Israel collusion. It reminded the Pakistani rulers that if Kashmir issue was not resolved in line with the United Nations Resolutions keeping to the desires of Kashmiris and if any Third Option was introduced then any peace brought in Kashmir would not be long lasting.

Another resolution lauded the test fire of Cruise Missile and considered it unavoidable to keep the balance of power for peace.

A further resolution called upon the Chinese rulers to think that Pakistan is her long lasting friend and it is necessary for both to be strong in defence.

Another resolution expressed concern that culprits of Bari Imam incident were not yet arrested and the injured and the bereaved families were not yet compensated. Lauding the steps taken by President Gen. Pervez Musharraf for rooting out terrorism, the resolution asked the President to take notice of banned organisations working with new names and order immediate release of those innocent people who were arrested in the garb of crackdown against the banned outfits.
