By: Sultan Ahmed
ABDOUN, Jordan: US embassy building situated in the
posh Abdoun area of Jordanian capital city of Amman will not remain
the most magnificent and huge structure in this peaceful vicinity, as
this news is revolving that Iraqi businessmen who have made Jordan
center of their business after poor security situation in their
country are struggling to construct a big Jamay mosque along with a
hussainiah on a large peace of land worth more than $ three million.
Talking to Qods Press, the businessmen have extended their demand to
the Jordanian Endowment Ministry for agreement on construction of the
mosque and hussainiah in Abdoun for holding religious rites.
In another development, information sources in Jordan said a number of
followers of Mazhab-i-Haqqah are rendering efforts to form an
association named ‘Al-Imam Al-Hussain (peace be upon him) Association’
to represent their activities.
During past few years, the Jordanian government stood for building a
big mosque near the holy grave of Jafar bin Abi Talib, brother of
Al-Imam Ali (peace be upon them) and cousin of holy Prophet Muhammad
(peace be upon him and his pure progeny) who was martyred in the
battle of Mota, one of the most important battles in the beginning
period of Prophethood. The mosque construction was completed with
money from Iranian government.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
