Shiias in Bangladesh facing deprivation, poverty
By: Nizam Hussain
DHAKA, Bangladesh: Followers of Ahl-ol Bayt (a.s.) in
Bangladesh are facing poverty and cultural deprivation, Ar-Rasul Al-Adham
(s.w.) Cultural Foundation delegation reported.
According to the report some parts lack mosques and hussainiyat for
preaching faith of Ahl-ol Bayt (a.s.), while there are parts where
mosques and hussainiyat are housed but these places of worship are in
miserable condition and need reconstruction and renovation.

Owing to lack of religious preachers, Shiias live in
severe cultural deprivation; rather most of them do not know religious
laws.
Keeping in view poor financial condition of people here, hundreds of
Christian and anti-Ahl’ol Bayt (a.s.) faith organizations are
utilizing this situation by extending monetary support and health
services under different names aimed at preaching their beliefs among
Shiias.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
