HOLY NAJAF, Iraq: A special source close to Al-Marj’e Al-A’ala Sayyed Ali Al-Husseini As-Sistani has told that the Ayatullah has ordered development of holy shrine of Master of Believers Al-Imam Ali ibn-i-Abi Taleb (A) in the holy city of Najaf, and furnishing best services in a manner that suits lofty status of religious mausoleums.

According to the source the development campaign includes Zein Al-Abidein (A) Street, As-Sadeq (A) Street, Ar-Rasul (S) Street, and Pilgrims Street, as well as building of new walkway, expansion of all thoroughfares around the holy shrine and all doorways leading to it.

Ayatullah As-Sistani oversees all holy mausoleums across the country.

Meanwhile, formation of a new organization for supervision of holy cities of Najaf, Karbala, Kazemiyah and Samara is about to happen. It will supervise plans of holy shrines’ construction in ancient style that reflects sacredness and spiritual values that these holy sites bear.
