Hurmat-e-Niswan Days end with mahafil and seminars

By: Salman Alvi

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Programmes of Ayyam-e-Hurmat-e-Niswan (Days of Women Dignity) announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi in connection with the birth anniversary of Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Syeda Fatima Zahra (S.A.) concluded throughout the country like other global parts on Thursday.

Mahafil Hazrat-e-Zahra (S.A.) were held in mosques and Imambargahs. Ulema, waizeen and zakireen addressed different gatherings on the topic of uswah-e-Fatima Zahra (S.A.). Khateeb Fateh-e-Furat addressing Ayyam-e-Hurmat-e-Niswan Mehfil organised by Hay’at Tulaba-e-Islamia said that Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Fatima Zahra (A.S.) is the reflection of prophethood on whose Ismat and Taharat Quran stands witness. He said this Muhaddisa and Mukarrima Lady (S.A.) completed the chapter of guidance and leadership for womenfolk being the Shareek-e-Kaar-e-Risalat (co-partner in prophet hood tasks) and women at large could achieve a high place and seek survival.

A resolution adopted on the occasion expressed shock and concern that although international colonial powers and their agents were responsible for continued violence going on the world over but these incidents are always attached to Islam and Muslim States and Pakistan is made responsible for it which is condemnable. The resolution called upon the oppressed nations and the Islamic World to understand that conspiracy, be good and make it clear on the world that Islam preaches peace and tranquillity and strongly condemns all types of biases, aggression, oppression, brutality and terrorism. It never committed aggression rather aggression is carried out against it to-date, because after the break-up of Russia, international chief of terrorists was considering herself the most supreme power on earth.

The resolution said that we stand to our point of view even today that terrorism could not be rooted out through terrorism and evil not with evil and attaching terrorism with any country or Maslak is itself an act of terrorism. Moreover, deed of any single person could not be termed the deed of the whole country or a nation.

Another resolution called upon the Muslim rulers to ensure the dignity of Sha’a’ir-Ullah in their respective States because when we would take care of the same ourselves then we would be justified in our demand from others to ensure the dignity and respect of the holy places. In this connection practical struggle for restoring the dignity of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Mualla is obligatory for the whole Islamic World. The resolution said if international organisations desire to make the world a hub of peace then they should get the Kashmir and Palestine issues resolved in the light of the United Nations resolutions keeping to the desire of their respective people.

The resolution called upon the international organisations to utilise all their energies for restoring peace in Afghanistan and Iraq and send army in the supervision of the United Nations so that no one could object to it. The resolution made it clear that we keep Pakistan, which has been the target of terrorism for the last two decades, dear to us. President Pervez Musharraf issued Anti-Terrorism Act and imposed ban of terrorist groups but anti-Pakistan forces were still struggling to fulfil their nefarious designs.

It strongly condemned the Bari Imam incident that took place on May 27 in which the target was Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi but about two dozens of Matmis kissed martyrdom while more than 200 were wounded out of which some were still admitted to hospitals but the government could not nab any culprit yet. Neither any Probe Tribunal was set up nor compensation was made to the bereaved families of martyrs and the injured. He said the President and the Prime Minister represent all countrymen instead of any particular Maktab and should therefore fulfil the norms of justice and fair-play.

The resolution said that in the recent crackdown against banned organisations, some innocent people and patriotic citizens were also being harassed which is condemnable. Surprise was expressed on the fact that the big gurus of banned organisations could be seen on the outer pages of newspapers but the innocent people are being victimised instead while the government and the opposition both were equally providing protection to the banned groups just for the sake of their self-interest. The resolution demanded immediate release of the innocent and tightening the noose around the banned groups instead.

The resolution reiterated to continue practical struggle for disseminating the message of God, Rasool (SAW), heirs of Rasool (A.S.), Aulia and Saleheen for peace and condemn oppression and brutality while assured continued support for the oppressed and have-nots with full sincerity of purpose.

Maulana Assad Naqvi (Lahore), Maulana Tabassum Abbas Kazmi, Syed Ali Raza Zaidi, Riwayat Hussain Ravi, Hassan Raza Kiani, Shahzad Butt, Jaffar Khan, and Mushahid Hussain Kazmi also addressed the gathering.

Ayyam-e-Hurmat-e-Niswan functions were also held at Qasr-e-Imam Moosa Kazim I-10, Jamia Wali-ul-Asr, Danishgah-e-Jafariya, Imambargah Jagir-e-Ali Akbar, Qasr-e-Shabbir, and Qasr-e-Imam Ali Naqvi, in Islamabad.
