HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: A majlis-e-Aza (mourning sitting) was held at the residence of Ayatullah Seyyed Ash-Shirazi in the holy city of Qom - home to the holy shrine of Hazret-e-Fatimeh Al-Masoumeh (a.s.), daughter of Hazret-e-Imam Mousa Al-Kazem (a.s.) - for elevation of ranks of martyrs of Bari Imam Incident.

On this occasion, Ayatullah Ash-Shirazi, Ayatullah Mofty`osh Shiia Ardbeli, Ayatullah Naser Makarem Shirazi and other Ayaat and scholars extended condolence and consolation to Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Strongly condemning the terror incident, the Ayaat and religious scholars recited fateha for the martyrs and prayed for early recovery of the injured.

Nearly two-dozen Hussaini mourners kissed martyrdom and more than 125 were injured in a powerful bomb blast carried out in the venue of huge central Majlis-e-Aza on the occasion of annual Azadari at the shrine of Hazret Bari Imam Kazmi Al-Mashadi Noorpur Shahan in Islamabad on May 27.

The Majlis-e-Aza organized by Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya (TNFJ) Islamabad was to be addressed by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Pakistan, Hamid Moosavi. As there was an announcement that Hamid Moasvi is coming, everybody stood up and then there was the explosion.
