UK, US Bari Imam mourning majalis ask Mush to curb banned outfits

BRADFORD/ NEW YORK: Five-day mourning announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi for Bari Imam tragic Incident was observed in the United States and Britain like other countries.

In this connection, condolence meetings and majalis-e-tarahim were held at different imambargahs, mosques and husseiniat in various cities of the US and UK.

TNFJ UK branch organized a majlis-e-tarhim addressed by Zakir-e-Ahlybat Syed Zafar Abbas (Dena, Pakistan), Zakir-e-Ahlybat Syed Riysat Hussain Rizvi, TNFJ Europe Representative Syed Nasir Abbas Jafri, TNFJ UK General Secretary and President Anjuman-e-Farooq-e-Aza UK Aslam Hashim, TNFJ UK committee members Raja Ibrar (Bradford), Munawar Lelani (London) Fazal Abbas (Midland), and Syed Yawar Abbas (Northampton).

Extending deep condolences to the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Syed Hamid Moosavi, who is also the chief of TNFJ, on Bari Imam Incident, the speakers assured him of their full cooperation and support.

They demanded from the government of Pakistan to take effective and practical steps to root out terrorism, keep eye on the activities of banned terrorist outfits besides breaking their network.

They also appealed to the Shiia nation to recognize their friends and foes, and keep distance from those elements that were busy in polishing their politics even on this tragic incident of Bari Imam.

The majlis speakers urged the need of sticking to ‘our center – TNFJ-‘ and making it further strong as a key to solve all problems.

Later, a protest resolution was passed by the participants and a protest Press Release was also issued to the newspapers.

In New York, a condolence meeting was convened by Syed Karar Naqvi attended by all TNFJ members including Syed Zulfiqar Naqvi, Syed Ibrar Shah, Syed Mukhtar Hussain, Rafaqat Jafri, Syed Wajahat Shah, Mohsin Shah, Shabi Naqvi and Syed Wasi Haider Naqvi.

The meeting offered condolence to the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi on the Bari Imam incident, prayed for high ranks of the martyrs, patience for bereaved families and early recovery of the wounded.

Thursday, June 2, a majlis-e-tarhim was arranged at Imam Al-Khoei Center New York for the Bari Imam martyrs followed by matam and noha-khwani. The majlis vowed to follow every line of action given by their spiritual leader Hamid Moosavi and demanded from the government of Pakistan to immediately set up a Probe Commission as asked by TNFJ to investigate the incident and punish perpetrators. It appreciated the discerning leadership of Hamid Moosavi for keeping a peaceful policy.


Bahrainis flay terror in Iraq-Pak, urge Arab clerics for clear stance

MANAMA, Bahrain: Bahrain’s Ar-Resalah Al-Islamiah Association, in a meeting on 28 May Saturday, expressed deep concern over silence of Grand Muslim Scholars and Clerics on slaughter of innocent Mo’mineen (believers) at mosques, husseiniyaat and shrines in Pakistan and Iraq including continuing bloodshed on Iraqi soil and the latest attack on a mausoleum of Bari Imam in Islamabad.
