ISLAMABAD, Pakistan : Quran Khwani and Majalis-e-Aza were organised
by different religious organisations and Matmi associations in the
twin cities of Rawalpindi and Federal Capital Islamabad like other
cities of the country on the second day of the 5-day mourning for
martyrs of Bari Imam incident announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya
Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.
The Pursa Bari Imam Committee of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya
sent the bodies of the martyrs of the incident along with its special
representatives to their respective areas. Arrangements are being made
for those bodies that could not be recognised so far.

TNFJ District Islamabad President Allama Basharat Hussain Imami
addressing an emergent meeting at Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra (A.S.) said
the District Administration is in constant touch with them and we have
directed the people to remain peaceful. Expressing shock over the
irresponsible statements issued by some ruling circles after the
incident, he said if the rulers are doing so then what could be said
about others.

Allama Imami commenting on appeal made by President Pervez
Musharraf to the nation to remain peaceful, said Gen. Musharraf should
himself identify which political parties including the ruling party
have included the banned groups in their ranks. He said an Enquiry
Commission should be appointed to probe why that big an incident took
place in the Federal Capital Islamabad despite the fact that Protest
Day was being observed against the desecration of Holy Quran and TNFJ
had also announced protest in this connection, but the media committed
dishonesty in this respect also.
Thanking newspapers, TV channels and news agencies for cooperating on
the occasion of Bari Imam incident, he condemned the Geo News policy
for not telecasting news issued by Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya
announcing 5-day mourning of the Bari Imam incident despite seeking
their attention repeatedly. Strongly condemning the use of “Kal-Adam”
(banned) in the news about Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, while
covering the Bari Imam incident on their TV channel, he made it clear
that there is no restriction on the TNFJ and it is the only
representative organisation of the Maktab-e-Tashayyo.
He said the Majlis-e-Aza programme on the Bari Imam shrine is being
held since before Indo-Pak Partition and Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya
Hamid Moosavi used to address here since the last 20 years arrangement
of which is entrusted to TNFJ District Islamabad but it is tragic that
despite announcement of 5-day mourning of the incident, Geo TV did not
announce it rather slides containing announcements from the banned
organisations working with new names were run that tantamount to
tearing apart President Pervez Musharraf’s Anti-Terrorism Act.
He said a policy is being pursued under a planned conspiracy to push
the Maktab-e-Tashayyo to the wall in all State departments including
the media.
Allama Imami said the government should be thankful to us that we kept
the nation, which had took over the Secretariat, peaceful and in
control after such a big incident while we were able to do what we can
but we keep the religion and the motherland dear than every other
thing.
He said the government should exercise wisdom and do not force us to
give any big line of action.
A programme of Quran Khwani to mourn the Bari Imam incident was
organised by Hay’at Tulaba Islamia that followed Majlis-e-Aza and
Matamdari.

Bari Imam incident was offered in Mauza Mehmooda Syedan Sub-Tehsil
Chak Beli Khan. Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah

by every Momin. The Azadaran kissing martyrdom during the Majlis-e-Aza

Hamid Moosavi, he prayed for the highest rewards for the martyr.
