Saudi Judiciary chief says does not back terrorists in Iraq

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: Chairman Supreme Judiciary
Council of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Saleh Muhammad Al-Liheidan
has denied accusations made in some publications and
carried by some of the satellite channels that he has been
inciting terrorism and backing the terrorists in Iraq and
Saudi Arabia.
In a statement, Sheikh Al-Liheidan said these erroneous
accusations have been made by criminals and those who seek
to do wrong. All that he ever said was that Iraq and its
affairs concern the Iraqis themselves, nor did he incite
Iraqis to kill fellow Iraqis or Americans.
Sheikh said he was the first to go on Saudi satellite
television to condemn killing of innocent people as
happened in the New York and Washington incidents on
September 11.
