RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has announced to observe martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S.) throughout the country like other global parts as “Youm-e-Aza” (Day of Mourning) on Friday, Shawal 15.

In a statement issued here on Sunday, he said Hazoor Khatmi Martabat (SAW) delivered the religion and Shariat and his successors not only gave a new height to the religion but also protected it from being amended.

He said from these successors of the Paighambar (SAW), there is an infallible personality Quran-e-Natiq Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S.) who enjoyed singular status owing to his good deeds and qualities. He was supreme as far as excellence, piety, courage, bravery, worship, generosity, knowledge and awareness is concerned.

Agha Moosavi said the 400 principles laid down by the Imam (A.S.) are included in the Kutab-e-Arba’a and he has left such pupils who enlightened many candles of knowledge and amongst them Jabir bin Hayan is considered the expert of Chemistry and Abaan bin Tughlib who has copied 30,000 Ahadees from the Masoom (A.S.). Hassan bin Wasa, a companion of the Imam-e-Samin Imam Zamin (A.S.), says that I have met about 900 ulema and Shayukh in Iraq’s Kufa Mosque and every one of them states that he was told this Hadees by Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S.).

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi said today the whole world is confronted with one problem or the other, oppression, brutality, terrorism, poverty and hunger. One of the important reasons of it is ignorance. If we have to get rid of these problems then we would have to use the most important weapon of knowledge through which we could enlighten the religion as well as the world.

Meanwhile, Youm-e-Aza Committee of the TNFJ has been formed to organise programmes for Youm-e-Aza. Allama Guftar Hussain Sadiqi has been nominated its Convener and Asad Al-Hussain as its Secretary.
