RAWALPINDI, November 07: Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has announced to observe “Youm-e-Inhidam-e-Jannatul Baqee” (Day of Demolition of Baqee Cemetery) on Shawal 8 throughout the country like other global parts for restoring the dignity of holy shrines.

Peaceful protest rallies and processions will be taken out throughout the country on this occasion.

In a message issued on the occasion, he said that in the Youm-e-Inhidam-e-Jannatul Baqee programmes it should be made clear on the world of humanity by highlighting the seerat and character of Khanwada-e-Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.), Ummahat-ul-Momineen (R.A.) and pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) to get rid of the problems, issues, cyclones, floods, earthquakes, earthly and otherwise disasters, oppression, suppression and brutality confronted by them, they would have to seek forgiveness for their sins from Allah and restore the honour and dignity of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Mualla.

Agha Moosavi said the live nations not only protect their Mashaheer and Sha’a’ir-Ullah but also keep on marching ahead making them a beacon of light for themselves. Muslim Ummah that has been termed Ummat-e-Wasat is the follower of that Rasool (SAW) who has been declared Rehmatul-lil-Alameen but unfortunately the same Ummah destructed the graves and mausoleums of Ahle Bait-e-Atahar (A.S.) and pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) in 1344 A.D., that is a tragedy for the whole Muslim Ummah.

He said by organising peaceful protest rallies on Shawal 8, we would have to reiterate our resolve to continue our protest unless the Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Mualla are reconstructed and their honour and dignity is restored. He said neither our forefathers bargained or bowed down their head nor we would do so as in it lay the key to survival of the humanity.

Meanwhile, a Central Committee of the TNFJ has been formed to organise programmes for Youm-e-Inhidam-e-Jannatul Baqee. Alhaj Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan has been nominated as Convener and Malik-e-Ashtar as its Secretary.
