Saudi Arabia: Ramadan gatherings highlight fasting significance

AL-QATEEF, Saudi Arabia: With the beginning of the blessed holy month of Ramadan, spiritual programs kicked off in eastern region of Saudi Arabia.

In Al-Awamiyah, a day-long “At-tafsir wat-tadabbor fee`l Quran Al-Karim” program is held at Al-Imam Al-Hosain (a.s.) Mosque. In the morning, Dua Al-Ehd and Dua As-Sabah after prayer is recited followed by Quran’s explanation. On Friday mornings, Dua An-Nodbaa is recited followed by Ja’far At-Tayyar prayer. At day time, Sheikh Baqer An-Namr addresses on fasting laws in light of Quran and Sunnah. Then before Iftar, Sheikh An-Namr recites some part of the holy Quran and answers the questions concerning that part of the holy book. At night, Tafsir is presented.

In Sehat, Sheikh Ja’far An-Namr gives Tafsir lectures at Al-Imam Al-Hasan bin Ali (a.s.) Mosque. Earlier children are taught the holy Quran, which was revealed in the holy month of Ramadan, by Sayyed Taqy Al-Yousaf.

Similar Ramadan spiritual gatherings are also being held at several other venues attended by thousands of devotees.  


Al-Imam Al-Hasan (A) Mosque opens in Sehat marking Ramadan

SEHAT, Saudi Arabia: On the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Mojtaba (A) Mosque has been opened in Sehat, eastern city of Saudi Arabia, with collective prayer and delivering of religious lectures.
