RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The high level meeting of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya held under the presidentship of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi ended late last night after adopting different resolutions on important national and international matters.

According to Central Spokesman of the Tehreek, Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, the participants while strongly condemning the foreign interference in Iraq and Afghanistan and State terrorism in Kashmir and Palestine called upon the United Nations to get this episode stopped and take steps to restore peace in those States where Super Powers were staying in control, for which there is an urgent need of immediate pullout of foreign forces.

The resolution said excuse for the presence of allied forces is being made there by patronizing terrorism in the oppressed Muslim States which is not fair but everyone should keep in mind that dream of restoring peace could not come true unless foreign interference is stopped. The resolution while demanding implementation of United Nations Resolutions about Kashmir and Palestine said developing any sort of relations with Israel or recognizing it without annexation of Al-Quds Al-Sharif would be commensurate with treachery against the blood of martyrs of Palestine.

Another resolution condemning the resolution of International Atomic Energy Agency against Iran has said that if Muslims did not wake up from deep slumber even now, did not form a joint platform against the anti-Islam forces and did not take courageous steps then Israel would come into fore as “Izraeel” for all Muslim States.

Another resolution termed the India-America defence pact and improvement of ties as a policy to chain China and called upon the Government of Pakistan to exercise wisdom and seriousness and raise a voice of concern against this pact while Muslim States should give priority to improving relations with each other.

Another resolution called upon the powers that be in Pakistan to come out of the shells of personal and party interest, give up duplicity in their words and deeds, give priority to the collective interest of the nation and the country over all other matters, all recognized schools of thought should be given their rights on the basis of equality, May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement for solution of problems confronted by the Maktab-e-Tashayyo should be implemented and they should be given effective ideological representation in all State departments including the media.

The resolution also demanded effective implementation of the Anti-Terrorism Act and immediate arrest of the innocent citizens arrested during the recent crackdown. The resolution expressed grave concern that the lower echelon of the Government administration has arrested peaceful religious leaders, poor labourers and hawkers but all banned leaders were roaming about freely. The resolution demanded improvement in law and order situation during Ramazan-ul-Mubarik and also advised the people to remain alert themselves and keep an eye on miscreants.

While strongly condemning the murder attempt on Central Vice-President of the TNFJ, Allama Tajuddin Haideri, on September 22 in Gujranwala, another resolution demanded immediate arrest and exemplary punishment for the culprits.

Another resolution demanded that facilities should be extended to Zaireen (pilgrims) who go for Ziarat of holy places by the countries concerned because some States have imposed tough conditions viz. issuance of visa, medical certificate etc. and charge heavy fee despite the fact that Zaireen visit these States seeking good health and for fulfilment of their just desires.

The resolution declaring the Government’s Hajj Policy faulty for the Maktab-e-Tashayyo demanded that norms of justice and fair-play should be fulfilled for all schools of thought.

Another resolution demanded arrest and exemplary punishment for the assassins of martyrs of Bari Imam, Masjid Madina-tul-Ilm Karachi incidents and Shaheed Maulana Wazir Ali Khatian Larkana, Shaheed Ijaz Hussain Jafri, and Shaheed Ayaz Ali Bangash of Quetta. The resolution demanded setting up of a broad-based Tribunal to probe all incidents of terrorism including the Bari Imam incident.

Some decisions were also made during the meeting, according to which Youm-ul-Huzn in connection with the death anniversary of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) will be observed on 10th Ramazan-ul-Mubarik, Youm-e-Aman on 15th Ramazan-ul-Mubarik to mark the Wiladat Ba Sa’adat of Shahzada Sulah-o-Aman Hazrat Imam Hassan Mujtaba (A.S.), Ayyam-e-Aza on 19-21 Ramazan-ul-Mubarik in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.), Jashan Nazool-e-Quran on 23rd Ramazan-ul-Mubarik, Youm-ul-Quds Himayat-e-Mazloomin on Juma-tul-Wida, and Youm-e-Inhidaam Jannatul Baqee on 8th Shawal-ul-Mukarram. Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, Syed Bin Moosa Kazmi, Dr. Iqbal Javed Haideri, Allama Zahid Abbas Kazmi, Meesam Tammar, and Alhaj Ghulam Murtaza Chauhan have been nominated conveners for these programmes, respectively.

The participants of the meeting demanded from the government to present special programmes during all these holy days on the electronic and print media and Maktab-e-Tashayyo should be given a chance to present their point of view on the electronic media during the month of Ramazan setting aside the monopoly of particular Maktab and Maslak.
