Turkey witnesses grand Mehdawia festivities

ISTANBUL, Turkey: Like other countries, anniversary of birth of
holy Prophet (S)’s 12th infallible descendant Al-Imam Al-Mehdi (A) was
observed in Turkey with great zeal and honour.
 
Al-Mehdawia International Mosque and Center in Istanbul organized
10-day celebrations to mark the august occasion. Shiia Centers in
Ankara arranged a big conference on the topic of Al-Mehdawia Culture
attended by large number of intellectuals, thinkers, universities’
professors, prayer leaders and common Mo’minin.
It is worth-noting that these programs not only absorbed Shiia crowd
but also non-Muslims because all religions give news of appearance of
a Messiah that will fill the earth with justice and equity.
Every night at the end of the program, gifts i.e. cultural books,
posters and pictures were distributred to the participants.
President Shiia Council in Istanbul and founder of Al-Mehdawia
International Mosque and Center Hojjatol-Eslam Adham Gaglian said the
celebrations in connectin with the happy occasion were held for ten
days (Shaban 10-20) in Ankara and Istanbul.
