RAWALPINDI, Pakistan - February 19: Majalis Ashra-e-Beemar-e-Karbala are being held throughout the country to mark the Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) with due honour and respect.

Majalis were held in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad while Taboots of Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) were taken out in ladies Majalis in this connection. Addressing a Majlis-e-Aza at Jamia-tul-Murtaza under the auspices of Anjuman Dukhtran-e-Islam (Regd), zakiraat said that Azadari is actually the blessing of Zainab (S.A.) and Zainul Abideen (A.S.) and is an eternal and universal protest against blasphemy which would continue till Hereafter.

They said the whole Muslim Ummah condemns the blasphemous caricatures published by newspapers of some countries and considers that it is not an issue of any Maslak or a country but that of the whole humanity.

They said that Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) is actually the inheritor of the Rasool-e-Azam (SAW) who protected the mission of Risalat in the streets of Kufa and Shaam and in the courts of Yazid and Ibne Ziad making it eternal forever and snatched the unveiled the enemies of Risalat to the whole humanity. They said the seerat of Ali ibne Al-Hussain Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) is the beacon of light for the whole humanity and a source of welfare here and the Hereafter. He is the Syed-o-Sardar of all worshippers and his collection of duas i.e. Saheefa-e-Sajjadia is the source of acceptance of duas of human beings.

Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Allama Muhammad Abbas Muhammadi, Zakir Ghulam Raza Jhandvi, Zakir Sajid Ali Sajid, Zakir Karam Hussain Shah and others addressed a Majlis-e-Aza held at Imambargah Haideri.

Various resolutions were also adopted during the Majalis Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala. A resolution strongly condemned the publication of blasphemous caricatures by some newspapers in Denmark, France, Norway, America, Jordan and other European countries and made it clear that killing people and causing harm to their property in the garb of such incidents is contrary to justice which is not allowed by any religion or Maslak because elements committing such type of activities are actually benefiting the enemy instead of religion and Shariat. It said that the enemy desires to prove Islam a violent religion but we desire to prove it a peaceful religion because Islam has replied oppression through innocence, evil with good and obscenity with dua.

The resolution said the whole humanity is confronted with one problem or the other, particularly the Islamic World and motherland Pakistan are confronted with host of wounds that need to be balmed instead of adding fuel to the fire because it is the conspiracy of the international colonial powers to first isolate the Islamic World and then Pakistan that is now an atomic power. We have to thwart that conspiracy rather have to adopt defensive strategy by adopting all constitutional and lawful methods. High Courts exist in all States, therefore, this issue may also be taken to the International Court of Justice.

The resolution made it clear that the Muslim Ummah should herself look into her own deeds that what service they are giving to Islam? How much implementation is visible on Quran and Sunnah by giving respect to Sha’air-e-Islam and Mashaheer-e-Islam? Defending and protecting the honour of Khanwada-e-Risalat is our responsibility in Shariah, we strongly condemn all elements that are committing blasphemy because destructing humanity and desecrating mankind in the name of Press freedom is oppression and injustice.

It questioned what the OIC was doing. It has given no line of action viz. massacre of Muslims in Kashmir and Palestine, destruction of Afghanistan, Iraq and Babri Masjid, setting on fire Al-Quds Ash-Sharif, and desecration of Sha’a’ir-Ullah and holy places. The resolution demanded from the government to compensate the losses caused during the demonstrations and the affected of Tank and Hangu incidents.
