Query: You are leading Shiias in Pakistan and chief of Tehrik Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, we would like to ask you hoping you would not disappoint us that Hadis-e-Kesa which is richly recited in Pakistan and India, and our speakers and preachers mention regarding it that Omm`ol Mominin Hadhrat Omm-i-Salma (R.A.) asked: "May I, too, come under this Kesa (cloak)? Holy Prophet (SAW) replied: Innaki a`lal kheyr (no doubt you are on piety but are not allowed to come under Kesa; now a days a clique has taken birth in Shiias, and not in non-Shiias, which claims Hadis-e-Kesa has no authenticity. please give your say, isn't there any authenticity, and its recitation is not right? please guide by your response. thanks in anticipation

Answer: Recitation of Hadis-e-Kesa Ash-Sharif has been a habit especially on Friday nights in all regions of the world where followers of Maktab-e-Jafar ibne Muhammad (A.S.) exist. In Shiite world Hauzat ilmiah of Iraq and Iran, renowned ulema-e-keram consider its recitation reward-achieving. Me too recite it.
