AMMAN, Jordan: Jordan’s Interior Minister Idd Al-Fayez said that the government will never give permission to build Hossainiyaat and Mosques for Mo’minin in Jordan to Jordanians or Iraqis.

His statement came in response to information that revolved in the Jordanian capital city of Amman last month that Iraqi businessmen are struggling to construct a big Jamay mosque along with a hossainiah on a large piece of land in Jordan worth more than $ three million.

The businessmen had extended their demand to the Jordanian Endowment Ministry for agreement on construction of the mosque and hossainiah in the posh Abdoun area for holding religious rites.
