RAWALPINDI, Pakistan : The two-day high level meeting
of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya presided over by
Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has adopted
many resolutions regarding important national and international
matter.
According to TNFJ Central Spokesman Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, the
participants of the meeting stressed the need of introducing an
international law to check the condemnable incidents like publication
of blasphemous images and supported the suggestion of President Pervez
Musharraf in this connection demanding that desecration of all
Prophets and heroes should also be declared a cognizable offence while
legislation is done in this connection. The resolution demanded from
the United Nations, ICC and OIC to play an important role in this
connection.

Another resolution demanded solution of long-standing issues of
Kashmir and Palestine by resolving the same in line with the United
Nations Resolutions keeping to the desire of their respective people.
It demanded immediate withdrawal of allied forces from Iraq and
Afghanistan and expressed concern that Iraqi people have been put on
the mercy of colonial monsters and their oppression and brutality
against humanity is increasing the day in and day out. The resolution
asked the United Nations to post her forces there and all countries
should help it, in this regard.
Condemning the Samarra tragedy, the resolution condemned continued
massacre in Iraq, attack on Masjid-e-Barasa and attempt to destruct it
and paid rich tributes to the Iraqi people and Maraje Uzzam for
practically displaying Sunni-Shia brotherhood. The resolution said
that all holy shrines are signs of Allah and are related with the
whole humanity; therefore, attack on the same is attack on religion,
Shariat, and humanity.


Another resolution called upon the government to direct the Control
Rooms already set up at Federal Interior Ministry and in all the four
provinces to remain in touch with the TNFJ Central Muharram Committee
Azadari Cell for solution of any possible problems faced by Azadaran
on the occasion of Chehlum of Syed-ush-Shuhada (A.S.) and during the
Ashra-e-Aseeran-e-Karbala being observed from 11 to 20 Safar so all
Azadari programmes during these days are organised peacefully.
It called upon the government to adopt the policy of mutual
understanding viz. all sections of society including the opposition as
arrests and bombings are no solution to any problem.
By another resolution, the meeting demanded immediate arrest and
exemplary punishment for the culprits of terrorism during the Matmi
procession on Youm-e-Ashoora in Hangu and during the Azadari
procession in Tank on 6th Muharram, give compensation to the affected
and unveil the elements behind it.
Yet another resolution made it clear that Pakistan was came into being
in the name of Islam the official religion of which is Islam that is
commensurate with the recognised Sunni and Shia schools of thought.
Therefore, it said no one would be allowed to turn Pakistan into a
sectarian State.
It called upon the government to fulfil the basic rights of all
schools of thought and the problems of Maktab-e-Tashayyo should be
resolved in line with the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement.
The delegates of the meeting reiterated their resolve to observe
mourning against the desecration of Holy Prophet (SAW), Ahle Bait-e-Atahaar
(A.S.), pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) and Samarra tragedy till 8th Rabiul
Awwal i.e. the Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) while the
peaceful universal protest against oppression and brutality would
continue till Zahoor-e-Imam Mahdi (A.S.).
Reports of Central Muharram Committee Azadari Cell and provincial
committees were presented.
A Central Committee to organise programmes for
Ashra-e-Aseeran-e-Karbala from 11 to 20 Safar was formed with Dr.
Iqbal Javed Haideri as its Convener and Wajih-ul-Hassan Kazmi as its
Secretary. The meeting decided to observe Hafta-e-Azmat-e-Mustafa and
Mujtaba from 23 to 29 Safar. Majalis-e-Aza will be held and Taboot
processions to observe Shahadat of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and
Nawasa-e-Rasool Hazrat Imam Hassan (A.S.) will be taken out on this
occasion. Hafta-e-Ehad-e-Paiman will be observed from 2 to 8 Rabiul
Awwal to raise voice of protest against blasphemy and Samarra tragedy
while commitment will be announced to continue the universal protest
of Azadari till Zahoor-e-Imam Mahdi (A.S.). Youm-e-Mukhtar will be
observed on 9th Rabiul Awwal while Hafta-e-Wahdat-o-Akhuwwat
Hurmat-e-Rasool-e-Azam (SAWW) and Aal-e-Atahaar (A.S.) will be
observed from 12 to 17 Rabiul Awwal.
TNFJ Central Committees were formed to organise all these programmes.
Conveners and Secretaries appointed for these programmes respectively
are: Malik Fayyaz Awan, Asad Ali Hasni, Adeel Haider Haideri, Dr. S.
Zaman and Haider Abbas Bajwa, Dr. Nazir Hussain Shah and Nazakat
Hussain Kazmi, Meesam Tammar and Abu Nasr Kazmi.
