HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: Al-Marj` Al-A`ala Alhaaj Sheikh
Meerza Jawwad At-Tabrezi (late) was one of grand teacher of
Al-Bahth Al-Kharej in the Najaf Hozaa. He left the holy city
of Imam Ali in 1970s owing to Ba’athist regime pressure.
On his sad demise on Monday November 20, Shawal 28 in the holy city
of Qom, Al-Hozaa Al-Ilmiyah An-Najaf Al-Ashraf announced mourning.
Markingthe occasion, majales at-tabini were organized across the
country for the late grand Marje`.
Representatives of Holy Najaf Maraje` namely Sayyed Ali As-Sistani,
Sheikh Bashir An-Najafi, Sayyed Muhammad Said Al-Hakim and Ishaq Fayaz
personally participated in a majles al-fateha at Al-Hindi Mosque.
Deputies of other Maraje` also attended. Ayatullah Shirazi’s office in
the holy city organized three-day majales to mark the sad occasion.
