Imam Ali Al-Mortadha (p) mourned in Egypt

CAIRO, Egypt: A majlis al-azaa marking the anniversary of
martyrdom of cousin, son-in-law and first infallible successor
of holy Prophet Muhammad (p), Al-Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (p),
in the Egyptian capital city of Cairo on Saturday.
Mourners belonging to different countries including Saudi
Arabia, Palestine, Kuwait as well as Egyptians participated in
the majlis. Recorded speech of renowned Husseini speaker of
the Arab world Dr. Sheikh Al-Vaeli (late) was played while
Sheikh Abdelhameed Mohajer addressed and highlighted the holy
life of Imam Ali (p).
Saudi elegists presented elegies describing the martyrdom of
Sayyed-ol Ausiyaa Al-Imam Ali (p) followed by sahour meal in
the name of Imam (p).

CAIRO, Egypt: Al-Majlis Al-Ala Le Reayatil Ahl-el Beit, an organization of Shias in Egypt, has said Egyptian security authorities have stopped annual celebration at Makhsha’a (place) Ameer’ol-Mominin Al-Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him) at Mount Sinai.
