RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that reason of problems and difficulties faced by the humanity is their keeping away from Zhud-o-Taqwa (piety). He stated this while addressing a Mehfil-e-Sayam.

He said the Islamic World and the oppressed nations are confronted with one problem or the other, satanic forces have made their life difficult, bloody ‘holi’ is being played in Kashmir and Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon have been destructed, sanctity of holy places is being trampled, Roza-Jaat of many religious personalities are razed to ground, innocent people are being killed, plans are being made to target Syria and Iran after Lebanon, and all energies are being used to win control of the whole humanity.

Agha Moosavi said that a saying of Maula-e-Kainaat Hazrat Ali (A.S.) goes that gentlemanliness is not superior than Islam, honour is not superior than Zuhd-o-Taqwah, and no shelter is most near than Taqwah, a person who makes Taqwah his source then the tough times he is facing from very near will go away, and the hard waves of sour things and arrests will go away and the hardships will become easy for him.

He said Taqwa is the source of solution of problems, human dignity and freedom; source of survival from difficulties and satanic forces, a great and strong shelter against difficulties and sours of life, it gives a new lease of life to the human being, protects him from sins and strengthens his wisdom so as to overcome all evil forces and rests as normal. It is a guiding force in respect of real precautions, a source of guidance against discrimination, oppression, suppression and terrorism.

There is a saying of Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) that Allah Says that fast (Roza) is for Me, I will give reward for it, therefore fasting should be kept in a way like the Paighambar (SAAW) desired and in line with the situation and condition devised by religion and Shariat, then that fast would be a better and big source and weapon to be used to thwart every mischief and conspiracy of the international colonial powers and their agents wiping out their plans.

The TNFJ chief said that Ramazan is the month of blessings, bounties of Allah are available from all around, therefore, we should not lack behind in maintaining ourselves and completing our training, and we should commit that our life would spend in subservience of the Creator and in serving the creature which would be our good luck, honour, Zuhd-o-Taqwah and worship. He made it clear that nothing in the world was created without any reason. He said objective of creation of the human being is worship and another most important worship is fast (Roza) that is called ‘Saum’ in Arabic and its plural is ‘Sayam’ the meaning of which is ‘keeping’. In the religion, avoiding all those things is compulsory that could give up the fast. The objective of worships also include fast. He said the Paighambar-e-Islam (SAAW) in his first announcement had said that recite La Illaha Il-Lallah and you would become successful. He said Zuhd-o-Taqwah is the standard of humanity gentlemanliness and greatness. He said one who is Zahid and Muttaqi is the most liked person before Allah and Taqwah has been considered the best Zaad-e-Rah and source for Hereafter on which Quran also stands witness that says: Achieve Zaad-e-Rah for Hereafter for yourself and Zuhd-o-Taqwa is the best Zaad-e-Rah.

Agha Moosavi said that Maula-e-Kainaat Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) has declared Taqwah as the Syed-o-Sardar of all morals. The Holy Prophet (SAAW) termed it such quality if a man continuously keeps it then the world and the Hereafter would be at his disposal and he could go to the heaven. When asked what quality is that, he said that is Taqwa. One who desires to become more honourable than others should adopt Taqwah and one who adopts Taqwa as a habit, Allah will give him livelihood from a source that would not be in his mind. Taqwa has also been declared a source of cleansing of Nafs and healing the heart diseases.

He said that there is a saying of Maula-e-Kainaat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) that Taqwah is definitely a healer for your heart diseases, and gives enlightenment to your blind hearts and a healer for diseases of your body and corrects riot in your heart, purifies your Nafs from evils, and increases your wisdom, it gives rest to your internal disturbance and enlightens your darkness. He said in Islam, Taqwa is not only real moral rather the objective of explaining all Godly commandments. Taqwa does not only means just giving up sins rather it is a power of internal strength and control over Nafs that a Nafs earns through eternal and continuous act of deeds and it makes human Nafs so strong that it becomes subservience to the commandments of Allah, Rasool (SAAW) and Aal-e-Rasool (A.S.) and becomes so strong that it completely rejects non-Shariah desires and the human being takes full control over his self. He said Taqwah also increases the wisdom of the human being.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said that Allah Says: O, people in Iman! If you make Taqwa your habit, then Allah Will declare it Furqaan for you i.e. Will give you wisdom and power to identity so that you could recognize the precautions of good luck, blessings, bad luck and Nahoosat and recognize the miscreants, that is why a Momin keeps an eye on future.

He said the most important of Taqwa’s signs is overcoming the problems, difficulties and hardships of life. Whoever will exercise Taqwa, Allah Will find one way or the other for removing his difficulties, and Will provide him the livelihood from a source that he could not even thank of. He said an Ayah says that whoever adopts Taqwa, Allah Will make his deeds easy. It has thus been revealed that Zuhd-o-Taqwa is the best weapon to solve and overcome problems.
