Hezbollah chief: Lebanon govt stirring conflict between Shia, Sunni

BEIRUT, Lebanon: Hassan Nasrallah, president of Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement accused Lebanese government figures of stirring turmoil between Sunni and Shiite Muslims.

In a televised address, Nasrallah said: “There are figures within the ruling powers who are working to provoke a conflict between Shiites and Sunnis in Lebanon."

"We reject sectarian conflict, civil war and we will not aim our weapons at anyone," he said. "We will not work in the service of Israel."

BEIRUT, Lebanon: In Lebanon, animators have brought to the cinema the story of the martyrdom of the Prophet Mohammad (p)'s grandson, Imam Hussein (p).
