UK rally demands King Abdullah to curb clerics’ verdicts

LONDON, United Kingdom: In connection with the campaign of protests and demonstrations that is being continued in front of Saudi embassies across the world by Iraqi people, a protest was staged in London on Friday July 20.

Carrying banners and placards, the demonstrators strongly condemned terror activities being patronized by Saudi clerics (ibne Jabrin, ibn al-athimain and others) and silence of the Saudi government in stopping their extremist fatwa. They were chanting slogans against terrorism and those who support it.

The demonstration was ended with reading of a statement addressed to the head of the Saudi system King Abdullah and the Saudi government demanding from them to immediately interfere to curb terrorism support in Iraq for al-Qaida terror network and the remains of Ba’athists.

Similar demonstrations were held in Germany, Australia, Washington, Sweden, Holland and many other countries.

THE HAGUE, The Netherlands: A big demonstration was staged by Iraqis living in Holland in front of Saudi embassy on July 11 in The Hague to protest terrorists, terrorism and its promoters i.e. Saudi clerics who issue fatawa (verdicts) in its favour.
