‘International Ashra-e-Fatimiyya’ from June 14-24, declares TNFJ
By: Salman Alvi
RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The meeting of the High Command of
Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya concluded late last night after taking
important decision and adopting resolutions on national and
international matters.
According to the Central Spokesman of the Tehreek, Syed Qamar Haider
Zaidi, the participants of the meeting through a resolution called
upon the government, the opposition and all sections of society to
give priority to the supremacy of the Constitution and work by
remaining within the limits and regulations set by it.
The resolution called upon President Gen. Pervez Musharraf to get rid
of ignorant friends and forthwith and earn the duas of the nation by
pulling the country out of crisis situation. The resolution said
objectives of creation of Pakistan could only be achieved by setting
the court system of the government on justice and fair-play. It said
questions against the State institutions, army, judiciary, Parliament,
Administration and journalism are raised when personal and party
interests are given priority, when the supremacy of the Constitution
and law is given priority then no respectable institution would face
any accusations rather their honour and dignity would increase
further.

The resolution made it clear that survival of Pakistan
lay in following the path of Islam and respect of all Makatib and
national institutions is necessary.
Regarding Federal Budget for the year 2007-08, the resolution called
upon the government that relief to general public should have been
visible. The resolution called upon the government to control dearness
and take concrete steps to provide necessary commodities at cheaper
rates to the consumers.
Another resolution said that taking of introducing any other country’s
ideology in Pakistan which was achieved in the name of Islam is
tantamount to causing harm to Pakistan ideology because Muslims
struggled and bore many woes on the call of Allama Iqbal and under the
dynamic leadership of Quaid-i-Azam, sacrificed their life, wealth and
honour, crossed through hurdle to create first Islamic ideological
State on the world map. Therefore, he said, talking about any other
system leaving the Nazria Asaasi (basic ideology – Islam - in which
rights of all Makatib and Masalik have been guaranteed is tantamount
to contradiction of the principles of Founder of the Nation and
Mufakkar-e-Pakistan.
Yet another resolution expressed complete solidarity with the Kashmiri
and Palestinian freedom fighters and expressed grave concern that
despite passage of half a century, Kashmir and Palestine issues
remained unresolved, lakhs of people have been martyred, thousands put
in jail, honour and dignity of the oppressed people is being trampled.
He said the United Nations is responsible for keeping these issues at
abeyance because they got the East Timor issue resolved but Kashmiris
and Palestinians are being punished for being Muslims. The resolution
made it clear that the permanent solution of Kashmir and Palestine are
the need of the hour to get rid of the dangers hovering over Middle
East and South Asia.
Another resolution demanded from India and Israel to pull out from the
occupied areas of Kashmir, Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon.
Another resolution lamented that Afghanistan and Iraq were destructed
in the garb of New York incident and America should call back her
forces from there so as to save the integrity and autonomy of these
two States and Peace Keeping Force should be deployed instead under
the nose of the United Nations while the people there should be given
their right to rule according to their desire.
The resolution terming the OIC silence as shocking said that this
situation is beneficial for the allied forces who first carried out
aggression against Afghanistan and Iraq and was now in search of one
excuse or the other to target Syria and Iran. The resolution called
upon the Muslim rulers to adopt such a strategy through which satanic
forces could be stopped from committing aggression and they should
take their own decisions.
Yet another resolution called upon the international organisations to
get the destructed holy shrines of Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.) and
Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) in Samarra reconstructed and get
their dignity restored.
The resolution while lauding the President Pervez Musharraf’s step of
introducing Anti-Terrorism Act condemned the unseen forces for
sabotaging the same and called upon the government to take strict
notice of it.
The TNFJ High Command, through a resolution, expressed concern that
recognised schools of thought were deprived of their basic rights in
the country despite the fact that honouring their rights on the basis
of equality is the foremost duty of the government. In this
connection, they strongly demanded from the government to implement
the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement for solution of Shia
problems.
It was decided during the meeting, to observe International
Ashra-e-Fatimiyya from 14-24 June in connection with the martyrdom
anniversary of Dukhtar-e-Rasool, Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Fatima Zahra
(S.A.).
