ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Mufakira-e-Islam, Khateeba, Syeda Binte Ali Moosavi has said that women at large are victims of coercion and injustice and they have to take protection under the Islamic religion for freedom. They have to follow the foot-prints of Khatoon-e-Jannat Fatima Zahra (S.A.) for all their problems including their deserving place and dignity, she added.

She was addressing the main Majlis held under auspices of Dukhtaran-e-Islam at Jamia-tul-Murtaza G-9/4 in connection with the “International Ashra-e-Fatmia” announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Thousands of women from Federal Capital, Punjab and Sarhad attended the Majlis, which began with recitation from Quran by Binte Moosa Moosavi.

Addressing the Majlis, she emphasised on the place given to women in Islam. She argued that Hazrat Aasia, who was a woman, brought up Moosa in Qasr-e-Pharaoh; Hazrat Maryam, who was a woman, protected Hazrat Eisa from the turmoil of Jews; Hazrat Hajira, who was a woman, saved Hazrat Ismail from thirst; and Hazrat Khadija, who provided a peaceful life to the Holy Prophet (SAAW) was also a woman and if this woman had not existed, neither did the poverty of Nabuwwat converted into wealth, nor did the atmosphere of contradiction turned into truthfulness.

She said the movements being run in the garb of freedom for women were exploiting the oppressed women further pushing them down. She said woman’s problem is not absolute freedom but achievement of her place and respect that has been conferred on her by the Nature.

She said Khatoon-e-Jannat Syeda Fatima Zahra (S.A.) presented woman by making her a model of respect and she herself presented the example of being an exemplary woman through her character and deeds. After the Wafat of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.), Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A.) had always been behind Syed-ul-Ambia Hazrat Muhammad (SAAW), and also played an exemplary role as the life partner of Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.). She brought up her offspring Imam Hassan (A.S.), Imam Hussain (A.S.) and Syeda Zainab (S.A.) and Syeda Kulsoom (S.A.) in a manner that they became the trustees of eternal life for Islam.

Binte Ali Moosavi said that those who accuse Islam of keeping women idle are unable to cover the expansion of Fatima Binte Muhammad’s (S.A.) character and deeds. She said Sada-e-Hussain’s echoes in east and west, Zainabi movements against oppression and brutality in every street are life signs of Naqoosh-e-Fatmia in every era and time. She said not only Islam and humanity but the whole Khudai is thankful to Khair-un-Nisa Syeda Fatima Zahra (S.A.).

She said the Holy Prophet (SAAW) had said in clear-cut terms that one who makes Fatima unhappy and furious is like making myself and Allah unhappy and furious. Therefore, whosoever desires to skip of unhappiness of Allah and Rasool (SAAW) would have to attach himself with the Daman-e-Fatmia. She said Ashra-e-Fatmia being observed on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi is the best source of paying homage to Khatoon-e-Jannat.

Zakira Sheher Bano, Hafeeza Khatoon and Dukhtran, Narjis Batool, Ummul Baneen, Rehma Shahzadi, Zahra Naqvi, and Farhat Fatima also addressed the gathering. Zainab Alvia, Binte Musa Moosavi, Apa Syeda Hussain, and Lawa Zainab Kazmi performed as Stage Secretary.

A resolution adopted on the occasion strongly condemned the razing down of minarets of the Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari’s (A.S.) shrine and presented condolences to Hazrat Zahra (S.A.) and Imam-e-Zamana (A.S.).

Another resolution condemned conferment of the title of “Sir” on Shatam-ur-Rusl Salman Rushdie by the British Queen and said it has not only disturbed the Muslim Ummah but it is also a violation from the teachings of Hazrat Eisa.

Taboot Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A.) was brought out after the Majlis that followed Matamdari by different Matmi Tanzeems.

Later Dastarkhwan-e-Fatmia was also arranged. Ummul Baneen WF, Girl Guides, Sakina Generation performed the security duties during the Majlis and Matamdari.
