SANAA, Yemen: Jafari Shi’a league of Yemen (SLY) has appealed to all conscious people, Arab and Muslim world leaders and human rights organizations in general and Maraje in Iraq and Iran and the other global parts in particular to help Shias in Yemen who are facing complete genocide by the government of Ali Abdullah Salih.

In a fervent call, an official of the Jafari Shi’a league of Yemen Dr Abu Ali AlKhaledi said thousands of devotees of Ahlul Bayt (AS) are in jails without any trial as a punishment for their Shia faith.

The SLY urges all nobles of the world that Shias Al-Jafariah in Yemen are under oppression and this oppression may lead to human catastrophe.

Therefore, all Maraje particularly Ayatullah Sistani are bound to interfere in this regard demanding from the Yemeni government to stop oppression, unjust imprisonments and genocide.
