ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The “Universal Hafta-e-Wilayat” programmes continued throughout the country on fifth day Wednesday on the call of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan.

Mahafil-e-Milad, gatherings and congratulatory functions were organised at mosques, Imambargahs, Aza Khanas and private institutions under the auspices of different religious organisations.

Hojjatul Islam Syed Mohsin Al-Hussaini addressing a gathering organised by Anjuman Ghulaman-e-Abu Talib at Markazi Imambargah Qasr-e-Abu Talib said that Eid-e-Ghadeer is the symbol of completion of the religion and all blessings while Eid-e-Mobahila is the symbol of Fatah-e-Mubeen of Islam. He said motherland Pakistan came into being courtesy combined efforts and joint sacrifices of all schools of thoughts and there is need to honour the rights of them all for its survival and solidarity. He said Eid-e-Mobahila is Sidrat-ul-Munteha of Ilm-ul-Yaqeen, Ain-ul-Yaqeen, and Haq-ul-Yaqeen.

He said when the Holy Prophet (SAAW) took Ali (A.S.), Fatima (S.A.) and Hasnain (A.S.) took along with him and the Christians accepted his truthfulness courtesy these holy personalities saying that if these personalities point towards mountains, even they would leave their place. He said this is the greatness of Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) that is recognised even by the enemies and this is the supremacy to which even the enemy bows down. He said our objective is promotion of Islam, solidarity of Pakistan, honouring the rights of the people and supporting the honour and dignity of the humanity.

Maulana Malik Ijlal Haider Al-Haideri addressing the Mehfil-e-Wilayat organised by Abbas Alamdar Trus at Imambargah Shaheedan-e-Karbala said that Hafta-e-Wilayat reminds us those great historic occasions that are called Ghadeer and Mobahila. He said the Holy Prophet (SAAW) in his last Khutba delivered at Khum-e-Ghadeer before a huge crowd of Ashab-e-Kubaar (R.A.) had announced that Ali (A.S.) is the Maula of those, I am the Maula of whom. He took commitment from the whole Ummah followed by Dua saying “Allah be friend of the one who keeps friend with Ali (A.S.) and be enemy of the one who keeps enmity with Ali (A.S.). Zakir Hassan Raza Kiani, Zakir Sarfraz Karbalai, Ibne Hassan Rizvi & Brothers, and others also addressed the gathering.

A resolution unanimously adopted on the occasion strongly condemned the Liaquat Bagh incident and expressed great grief and sorrow on the tragic death of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. The resolution considered rooting out terrorism from motherland Pakistan as need of the hour. The resolution termed the firing on Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and the suicide blast amid tightest security after her public address as tragic.

Prior to six days of this incident, innocent worshippers were killed in Charsadda while Kurram Agency is still in the grip of terrorism even today where dozens of people have been killed and even the security personnel were not safe, passages are blocked and the citizens are deprived of eatables.

The resolution expressed grave concern on caretaker government’s failure in controlling the situation as a result of which people could not heave a sigh of relief.

The resolution expressed grief over the loss of billions of rupees in the Liaquat Bagh incident and the incidents of jalao-gherao thereafter. The resolution said that even trains and the commuters were not spared that seems to be a heinous and well thought-out conspiracy that is condemnable.

The resolution demanded from the government not to ignore the demands of People’s Party so as to stabilise the country and save it from anarchy.
