‘Ayyam-e-Maadar-er-Abbas’ declared in Pak to mourn Hazrat Ummul Banin (A)
By: Salman Alvi
RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid
Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the seerat of Hazrat Ummul Baneen (S.A.)
is the best and complete example to follow for the respectable women.
This was stated by him while announcing to observe
Ayyam-e-Maadar-e-Abbas, Alamdar Lashkar-e-Hussaini from 5-7 June.
He said like there are pious people in men similarly high status women
are also found amongst women who have achieved heights in knowledge,
Zuhd and Taqwa. One of those personalities, he said, is Hazrat Ummul
Baneen (S.A.) who besides having the knowledge and dignity of Ahle
Bait presented her four sons, the sons of Sher-e-Khuda (A.S.) to Imam
Hussain (A.S.) for the protection of honour and dignity of religion,
Shariat and humanity.
Agha Moosavi said that to explain the courage of Maadar-e-Abbas, it is
enough that when she was told that her all four sons kissed Shahadat
in Karbala, she said first tell me about Hussain (A.S.). This attitude
is a clear cut proof of her devotion, love, sincerity, with Hussain (A.S.).
He said the topic of the holy Quran is human being and it is binding
on both men and women. Those who are on Taqwa have been rewarded with
respect. Taqwa is the name of avoiding immoral acts and to be laced
with good morals. He made it clear that Taqwa is the ultimate goal of
the human being that is why Allah Says: Oh, the human being, worship
your Allah who created you and those before you so that you become
pious. He said those who are near Allah have been decorated with Taqwa.
To cut short, he added, justice, fair-play, patience, Islamic system
of living, and all high values of morality are the basis of Taqwa. “Do
justice as it is nearest to Taqwa” (Surah Maida).
The TNFJ chief said that prophets and messengers were laced with Taqwa.
From amongst the women at large, Khanwada-e-Ismat and Taharat were
placed at the height of Taqwa and those who were attached with this
Khanwada were living examples of Zuhd-o-Taqwa, he added.
He said Maadar-e-Abu Al-Fazal Al-Abbas Alamdar Lashkar-e-Hussaini (A.S.),
Hazrat Ummul Baneen (S.A.) is that great personality whose forefathers
were exemplary in bravery in the Arab World and on this basis the
great Arabic poet Labeed had said to King Heerah that we are the
offspring of that mother’s brave sons who used to kill their opponents
in the battlefield and used to offer great respect to their guests.
He said Ummul Baneen (S.A.) had desired that no matter her sons kissed
Shahadat but alas! Hussain (A.S.) could have been saved. He said the
spirit of sacrifice of Hazrat Ummul Baneen (S.A.) is the proof of
Ajr-e-Risalat and expression of devotion.
The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Moosavi said the biggest reason of
the crises confronted by the world of humanity today is lack of
justice and fair-play. He said in the movements of independence and
freedom those who are fighting against the oppressed and are offering
Shahadat are showing the essence of their great mothers’ milk and such
women who are sacrificing their sons today following in the footsteps
of Hazrat Ummul Baneen (S.A.) are laudable.
Meanwhile, a TNFJ Committee has been formed to organize programmes of
Ayyam Madar-e-Abbas Alamdar. Dr. S. Zaman has been nominated as
Convener while Malik Salman Haideri and Jawwad Awan have been
nominated as Deputy Convener and Secretary of this Committee,
respectively.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
