Pilgrims pour into Husseini shrine marking Ramadan Friday nights

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Devotees of Al-Imam
Al-Hussein (A), Master of Martyrs and grandson of Chief of Prophets
(S), flock to his holy shrine in the holy city of Karbala marking the
month of Ramadan, the blessed month of Allah.
 
 
On Friday nights of this holy month, tens of thousands from across the
country gather under the dome of Al-Imam Al-Hussein (A), offer prayers
and zeyarah, recite supplications and attend religious spiritual
lectures throughout the nights. According to a tradition of holy
Prophet (S), every prayer prayed under the Husseini dome is fulfilled.
 
 
Then the devotees break their fast near the holy shrine to achieve
great reward that is showered on the visitor of the sacred grave of
Al-Imam Al-Hussein (A).
Holy Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah (S) and his Ahl`ol Beit (A) highly
recommended pilgrimage to his grave because he is symbol of
oppressed-ness and stand against oppression and oppressors.
