Laylato Istesh-haden-Nabi in Alawi Shrine … report from Najaf

HOLY NAJAF, Iraq: Various organizations and associations from
across the country gathered in the holy city of Najaf to commemorate
the martyrdom anniversary of Ar-Rasul Al-Adham (peace be upon him and
his holy progeny) at the shrine of his first infallible successor,
cousin and son-in-law Ali Ibne Abi Talib (peace be upon him) on 28
Safar.
Throughout the night before the dawn of Safar 28 (Laylato
Istesh-haden-Nabi), Majalis and azao latam were being held to extend
condolence to the holy family of the Prophet (peace be upon him and
his holy progeny) on the martyrdom of the best of all creatures and
Chief of all Prophets and Messengers, Muhammad Al-Mostafa (peace be
upon him and his holy progeny).
