Ayat As-Sadr alone was a ‘nation’ … first confab on martyr in Najaf

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: First educational conference on
great Islamic thinker and philosopher martyr Ayatullah Sayyed Muhammad
Baqer As-Sadr was held in the holy city of Najaf.
The conference at Kufa University auditorium that was
named after the late Ayatullah Baqer As-Sadr drew thousands besides
scholarly, religious, social and political figures.
Sheikh Abdulhalim Az-Zahiri addressed on behalf of Prime
Minister Nuri Al-Maliki, Dr Hadi Al-Khizraji on behalf of Dr Ibrahim
Al-Jafari, Hasan Wahab As-Safi, Dr Abdulamir Kazdhim Zahid, Ayatullah
Sheikh Baqer An-Nasseri and many others spoke to the confab and threw
light on thoughts and views of the late Ayatullah who alone was a
‘nation’.
