Ayat Khamenei urges to stick firmly to Prophet (p)’s message

TEHRAN, Iran: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatullah Khamenei greeted the nation on the auspicious occasion of the anniversary of the appointment of Prophet Muhammad (p) on prophetic mission, saying the mankind's greatest need today more than ever is to stick firmly to the message brought to them by the Prophet of Islam (p).

He was speaking during a meeting with the heads of the country's three branches of power, ambassadors of Islamic countries and a large number of people and officials here on Wednesday.

He said, “The great Iranian nation relying on invaluable lessons gained from the appointment of the Prophet of Islam (p) would pave the path towards prosperity and well being firmly and strongly”.

Ayatullah Khamenei said: “The holy Prophet stated, in order to push forth social reforms within a nation, it is necessary to refine their leaders, and therefore, the nation's authorities, scholars, intellectuals and experts need to shoulder the heavy responsibility of mobilizing the Islamic nation against their enemies, and lead the Islamic world towards exaltation and advancement”.
