Bahrain: Grand mourning programs mark Arbaeen

MANAMA, Bahrain: Arbaeen Al-Husseini was marked across Bahrain on Safar 20 with due reverence and respect by holding grand mourning processions and sittings.

Throngs attended the mourning programs held at all husseiniyaat, maatam and mosques to pay rich homage to the Chief of Martyrs Al-Imam Abee Abdellah Al-Hussein (a.s.) and his 72 faithful companions who rendered supreme sacrifice in the burning desert of Karbala some 1,400 years ago for survival of Islam & Sha’rieh and safety of high values of humanity.

Majalis were held at Maatam bin Salum Manama, Hussainiyah Al-Haaj Ahmed bin Khamis, Masjid Fatimah-tuz-Zahra (a.s.) Hamd, Masjid Al-Momin, Maatam Al-Imam Al-Baqer (a.s.) Bouri, Maatam Ad-Darah, Maatam Al-Ajam Al-Kabir, Hussainiyaqh bin Zubr, Maatam As-Samamik Manama, Hussainiyah Al-Qassab Manama, Maatam Al-Haaj Ali Al-Mulla Sanad, Maatam Raas Ar-Rumman, Maatam bin Zubr, Maatam Al-Imam Ali (a.s.), Maatam Ithni Ashariyah, Maatam Medina Eisa, Maatam As-Sanabas, Maatam Ash-Shaheed.

Special arrangements were made for sabeel and meal for the mourners from the table of Al-Imam Al-Hussein (a.s.).
